A national, nonpartisan move to stop and pray every day
for the destiny of America up to – and through – the election.

America is in one of the most critical seasons of a lifetime.

Knowing God’s priorities is paramount. “Pause To Pray” is a call for every generation and denomination to stop and pray every day to hear God’s heart for the future of our great country.

Let His Voice become our vote as we bring prayerfulness to the polls.

Starting Saturday, October 3rd and ending Wednesday November 11th, we’re praying through the election as our hope is not in our politics but in His promises. November 11th, 2020 is the 400 year anniversary of the signing of the Mayflower Compact, the first, foundational framework for government in the USA. This agreement – created by the pilgrims who journeyed to the new world “for the glory of God, and advancement of the Christian faith” – signals what America was always destined to be: one nation, under God. Much like the covenant with Abraham, after 400 years of submission to God, God is restoring the remnant of His people to their promised lands and opening up the fullness of what was intended for this nation and His Bride. We are going to usher in this new era with praise and thanksgiving.

HOW TO Engage

Join others praying at the same time everyday, from wherever you are.

Lift your voice with others at a local worship gathering.

Join seasoned intercessors from across America every Friday night.

Pray on your own time.

We know schedules are full and time is tight; join others who have pledged to pray each day when the time is right. At the start of the week you’ll receive prayer points for each day of the week so you can unite with others praying the same prayers.

Unite from wherever you are.

Join others from across the world at 11:11 am EST to pray for 11 minutes – everyday for 40 days. Prayer points for the day will be sent to each participant prior to the time so that you can engage in your own prayer, or pray along with us on Facebook.

Sing your prayers.

A fresh wave of music is breaking out all across America; come join others in your area at a gathering to stop and lift up your prayers and hear from Him in this hour. Follow these groups to connect with upcoming events.

Intercession is a type of prayer that pleads with God for your needs – and the needs of others. Every Friday night we will be hosting a video call called the “Eastgate Council” to intercede for cities and regions across the nation; you can either observe or participate.
